Here's another poem, this one an acrostic. It was written specifically for this month's issue of the Catholic Agitator, and hopefully it will be published.
Food is not a commodity, but a right
All are entitled to shelter at night
Inequality is a curse to those with power
Revealing the truth that money breeds cowards
People deserve to be treated as equals
Lay down all violence: the sword and the shield
Are not all oppressed when few are free?
You have the power in what you choose to be
